Following the finished designs for the first two Cold Press Juicery shops in Amsterdam, Standard Studio was invited to design a third location, right near the Anne Frank museum in Prinsengracht. Located on a busy corner, The Cold Pressed Juicery – Shop Prinsengracht is a minimalist escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The shop caters to both the commuters looking for a quick juice and the people that want to sit back and enjoy it. The front part houses a series of fridges that hold to-go products, while the back is set up like a living room where patrons can relax. The back is contained within a concrete box which contrasts the front section with white walls and original marble floors. Connecting both worlds is the massive wooden counter and smoothie station that was made from a huge tree trunk weighing over four tons.
Other parts of the tree trunk were used to make a geometric wooden screen that references the company’s branding.
