Over the holiday break, I delved into the crazy world of online sofa searches. I had everyone over at my house for Christmas this year and realized my living room set-up completely catered to my dog and I and no one else. It felt weird. After everyone left, I began to look at our home tours and living rooms online to see if I could imagine how the room would feel populated with people and not just stare at a great shot with a pretty sofa. I soon realized this wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be and that the answer was really to simply to step outside of my introvert comfort zone and have more real live people over to see what felt right…and what felt wrong.
I folded that into my New Year’s resolutions. More people, my house – despite the butterflies in my stomach.
I may not have walked away from my online trip with an instant solution (no such thing I know!), but I did feel like these 9 sofas were share-worthy so peruse the round up below and get comfy!

And finally, this beauty! A bit on the pricey side, but that grey velvet and rolled arms make me want to sip some Earl Grey and pen some delicate poetry.
