I don’t know about you, but I could use a little escape this week. I’m working on a daunting makeover project at a very special shelter/home in our area, and right now I feel a bit in over my head. If this project was an HGTV show, we’d be deep in the “find a bunch of dead rats and scary abandoned bathrooms” stage. I’m trying to take deep breaths and remember that we’ll get through this stage, but I need a little digital refresher just to clear my mind and keep my energy high. So this dreamy (and very Wes Anderson-y) pink castle in Scotland will do just the trick. I came across this amazing destination (Craigievar Castle in Aberdeenshire) on photographer Ramona’s Instagram feed called @Monalogue and it helped me take a much needed mental getaway. If you could use a little digital trip, too- check out Ramona’s beautiful British travel photography right here. Until Monday, have a safe and happy weekend- and enjoy our favorite stories from around the web below! xo, Grace

Joy the Baker’s lessons she’s learned from 10 years of blogging are so beautiful and true. “Guess how much garbage there is in the world? Plenty. No need to add to it. Let’s just save everyone some time.”
Parenting in the Creative Industry, Pt. 1: Staying Centered, Finding Support & More
I’m obsessed with businesses like Wethos. If you have creative skills and want to work with/help out non-profits, they will connect you to a group in need that’s doing good work. Conversely, if you’re in need of talent and run a non-profit, they can help you find great talent. More of this in our community, please. Yes to connecting creatives and non-profits doing good for those in need.
I love artwork in a kitchen. It may not always be practical, but it makes the room feel so lived-in, which I just love in a space like this. Orlando Sorio does it so well.

Women write about the idea of “home” in a new book, reviewed at BUST. A really great new book of essays. I need to get this, stat.
Patterns made from erasers? Yep, I’m into this.
Also, Joy’s Compliment Club with friends? Sign me up. Genuine, specific and non-hyperbolic support sounds like something we could all use in our lives.
