We’ve seen that brass lighting is a trend with staying power, but there’s another metallic tone that’s stealing the show for its versatility and aesthetic appeal in design. Copper and rose gold light fixtures possess an influence that’s twofold: 1.) the color is striking and eye-catching, making it perfect for rooms where lighting needs to be the focal point, and 2.) Its rosy/warm hue matches or complements many popular design materials (namely wood or anything white).
If you’re intrigued by this material but unsure of its longevity, I’d wager that copper and rose gold metallics — in lighting specifically — will stick around for a while. To help paint a picture of the ways this metallic can be used in lighting, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite examples from past home tours. —Kelli
