These days it’s hard to escape the popularity of sliding barn doors. I’m not sure if it’s just the power of Chip and Joanna Gaines or the rise of salvage wood appreciation, but from coast to coast, homes are embracing sliding barn doors for their texture, character and practicality (they’re great for spaces with limited door-opening space!). What I love most about this trend is the way it feels equally at home in all-white modern city apartments (see above) or comfortable homes in the country. Today I’m sharing 9 of my favorite sliding barn doors, from bright red modern versions to deeply patina-ed antique styles. Slide on! xo, grace
