OGSB Studio is a design studio based in Brussels who collaborated with Ateliers J&J on a pair of lamps made with recycled aluminum from local manufacturers. The Gota collection includes a table lamp and a floor lamp each of which features two points of pivoting motion – the lamp’s arm and the lampshade – that stay in place wherever you want them.
The studio chose to create the lamps out of a single material that allowed for recycling and easy assembly, as they want to focus on durable and eco-friendly components overall, which is what led to the recycled aluminum. Once the lamp parts are formed out of the anodized aluminum, they are powder coated in your choice of Mat Black, Mat Light Grey, Satin Olive Green, Satin Oil Blue, or Anodized Aluminum and then outfitted with LED lighting.
