10 Instagram Feeds To Inspire Your Next Party

I can’t remember the last time I threw a real party. The kind with a theme, colorful decorations and maybe a balloon or two. As I’ve gotten older I’ve embraced low-key entertaining that comes together last minute, but every now and then I have a moment where I miss the excitement, joy and enthusiasm of decorating for a full-on par-tay. So today I’m taking inspiration from 10 of my favorite Instagram feeds that celebrate parties, entertaining and party supplies as their main goal. From colorful plates for everyday celebrations to exuberant balloon installation ideas for big-time fêtes, these feeds are sure to give you the inspiration, ideas and tools you need to throw your dream party any time. xo, grace

Image above: @OhHappyDayPartyShop is a great feed to visit if you need supplies and party ideas. I love the bold primary colors they work with and the way they draw from the world of fine art and design for their themes.

Image above: I cannot get enough of the creative handmade piñatas that @WhackPinatas posts on their Instagram feed. This flamingo is tops.

These pastel fans with gold edges are just one of the many supplies that @Beau-coup carries on their site. Beau-coup tends to favor softer color palettes and pastels, so if that sounds like your kind of party, check out their feed for more ideas.

One of my favorite things about @cheeky_home ‘s feed is the way they connect light-hearted party ideas and supplies with serious causes and issues. Cheeky works with charities like Feeding America and No Kid Hungry to donate a meal for every Cheeky item purchased. Great parties that serve a greater cause are always a good plan in my book.

The @hiphippartygoods feed is run by former craft and DIY blogger, Melanie Blodgett. While the feed is still getting up and started, I find her simple, approachable ideas for entertaining a breath of fresh air.

If you’re looking for something less “kid party” and more “grown-up”, the @bkevents feed is full of great decorating and design (indoor and outdoor) ideas for weddings and grand events.

The @knotandbow feed is one of my go-tos when I need a little excuse to make a normal weekday feel like a party. From confetti and confetti tape (so fun!) to beautiful ribbons and tape, this is a great place to turn any old Monday into a celebration.

The @shopsweetlulu feed is one of my favorite destinations for love-themed party goods and little odds and ends to let someone know you care about them. These heart balloons are my favorite.

Amina Mucciolo is one of the happiest and most fun people I’ve ever gotten to work with. We featured her home/studio on Design*Sponge, interviewed her for In the Company of Women and her Instagram feed @studiomucci is THE most rainbow-riffic place on earth. If you like colorful party ideas, this is the one place you need to be.
