I’m so excited to announce an update for our Good Company Magazine launch on Monday in Brooklyn! The lovely and talented Genevieve Gorder of Trading Spaces will be joining us! If you’ve been reading DS for a while, you’ve probably heard me talk about how much Genevieve means to me and how she is the reason I wanted to work in design. Her energy and spirit and determination mean so much to me so I’m thrilled to have her join Gabi Fresh (of Premme), Roachele Negron of Rayo & Honey, TANAÏS of Hi Wildflower and Andrea Gompf of Remezcla for our panel on Monday. Inspiration: If you didn’t read Janelle Monae’s interview in Rolling Stone this week, please do. She gave me so much hope and her decision to live openly and bravely was so beautiful. Things like this make me so hopeful for the next generation of LGBTQ artists and makers (and everyone else, too!). Apparently her article is the reason searches for the term “pansexual” are trending now. Yay for better understanding identities and each other.
