As high summer comes to an end, we’re ready for some cool evenings to enjoy outside with friends and family. I’ve always dragged my feet when it comes to picking out outdoor furniture because I just couldn’t commit to any of the “set” aesthetics. When Arhaus reached out to us to introduce their online shop and well-designed pieces for both indoor and outdoor settings, we were delighted to find styles and looks that went beyond the garden variety. Think lovely teaks, generous cushions and enough styles to satisfy just about anyone.

The one outdoor collection we really wanted to see in person was from the Goa range (above). These outdoor, all-weather wicker pieces are not for (or from) the Victorian set. This is a modern weave in a handwoven pattern that gives off a contemporary, geometric vibe so they sky’s the limit when it comes to styling these pieces. Cosmetics aside, we especially love the deep, comfortable seats made with eco-friendly, antimicrobial cushions covered in weatherproof Sunbrella® fabric. They easily zip off for a full cleaning, and spot cleaning is a breeze too since the fabric repels stains. We love that this bold and beautiful couch can make the transition from outdoors to indoors without a second thought. This goes for the all-weather oversized grey pouf, too!

Today we’re sharing just a few special moments we enjoyed with this Arhaus set styled two ways. We’re also excited to host a giveaway courtesy of Arhaus! Details are at the end of the post so be sure to check them out to be entered to win a $200 gift card redeemable at Arhaus.

We really liked the unique heathered look of this pouf! It’s oversized so it’s perfect for casual outdoor entertaining and can easily hold plates and glasses for several guests.

These are the studio shots of the Goa collection and the grey pouf seen in this post. The chair and the pouf are sold out, but Arhaus has a lot of other styles to choose from. Their teak pieces are especially gorgeous and available is several distinct styles. Arhaus is committed to never using wood from endangered rainforests.

It’s really evident that the design elements Arhaus considers and incorporates into their products are conceived to both work and play. This means functional elements like washable slipcovers and long-lasting construction keep their furniture in service for years.

We had a blast styling out the Goa couch with a black and white theme, adding in more graphic patterns for fun. We were even inspired to whip out that vintage apple fabric we’ve had for years and make a few pillows to add to the mix.

The form of the couch itself is so visually intriguing that we started to experiment with removing the back cushions and just adding pillows so we could actually see more of the frame. The couch is so comfortable that removing the back cushions is absolutely an option. We switched things up and played with some deep coral and pinks.

As much as we wanted to discourage Rex’s takeover of the pouf, we couldn’t. Plus, the shot above is testament to the roomy size of said pouf. At one point, there were actually two medium sized dogs comfortably sharing it. We’d advise using it as intended though — for summery drinks and snacks.

We wanted to share two more important details about our Arhaus experience:

1. It was very hard to choose what pieces to see in person because they carry so many pieces for indoors and out. We went the outdoor route simply because the styles were so refreshing. We made a lot of mood boards to make our final choice with the Goa line and you can see our runner-up pieces above.

2. Delivery was such a pleasant experience. We got two calls from the company; one to schedule the delivery date and time and one to confirm delivery the day of and to ask about the number of steps and the placement location of the furniture so they could prep the movers. The actual driver called to let me know his arrival time. It was professional, friendly and left no room for snafus or grumpy movers because they knew exactly what to expect.
